MY 2016 CANCER COUNCIL GIRLS’ NIGHT IN >
I could totally get used to this! Hosting a Girls’ Night In for my girlfriends every weekend, raising money to help beat women’s cancers and raising awareness of the incredible work Cancer Council does, having a house filled with the prettiest flowers in the world, pamper stations, lots of giggles, great food… Ahhh, now that would be the life! Today on the blog I am sharing some of my photos taken at my Girls’ Night In and also how YOU can get involved and host/plan your own event for 2016.
PLANNING YOUR PARTY:
When it comes to hosting and planning YOUR night in, don’t be deterred by my extravaganza – I am just event styling OCD and need everything I do, to be over the top (I am totally a Lisa Vanderpump event wannabe – now that woman knows how to host an event!). Or if you are like me, absolutely use this as a great excuse to get creative and have fun with some girlie goodness. Other ideas could be: a girls’ weekend away, a clothes swap, a movie night (or Real Housewives marathon!), get a pro in – cooking/baking, a form of exercise or make-up/hair workshop, even a mummy play date! Whatever works for you and your girlfriends. The important part to focus on of course are the donations of your guests. If you are unsure of what to suggest, try a popular one is what you would normally spend on a night out.
WHEN? You can host your very own Girls’ Night In anytime during the month of October
HOW? You can click < HERE > to register online or call 1300 65 65 85
Cancer Council’s Girls’ Night In is a fantastic chance to catch up with the girls, have fun and raise funds for all women’s cancers. All the money you raise will help Cancer Council beat women’s cancers through prevention programs, support services and world-class research.
Shortly I will be doing a blog post about all the wonderful people involved in my Girls’ Night In, including my gorgeous friend Ashlea Young from Styled By Plan A who helped me with the styling – she is ahhmazing!
DONATIONS / MAKE IT COUNT:
Even if you’re unable to attend your friend’s Girls’ Night In, you can still make a donation – just search by state and follow the prompts. If you don’t know anyone hosting a Girls’ Night In or you’d prefer your donation go towards helping beat all cancer types, then you can also donate directly to Cancer Council < >
P.s please tag me in your Girls’ Night In on social media, I would LOVE to see your events too – so don’t forget to include the hashtag #ourgirlsnightin
