SISJ KIDS & FASHION: MAMMA + SUMMER + SWIMWEAR >

Today on the blog I am sharing my fashion tips and tricks to ensure all my fellow mammas feel confident for summer.

For most women wearing a bikini can be daunting at the best of times. Then multiply that by like 10,000 and you have how I (and prob most other mammas!) are feeling about swimwear in general right now! I don’t know about the rest of you, but I can already say… My boobs will probably never be the same again. Yer yer, cue the violins. Whether it’s a #firstworldproblem or not, it sucks to not feel your best and anxious about getting into bathers (which is in five sleeps for me!). While the excitement of packing my daughter’s suitcase for our impending Hayman Island trip is totally rocking my world, the realities of postpartum life are seriously kicking in. For many mammas there is a list as long as our arm of ‘it-sues’ to worry about: from saggy to explosive boobs, C-section scars, stretch marks, varicose veins, fluid, cellulite… Need I go on?! Anyway. Instead of being a Debbie Downer, I am here to offer my styling advice and some great finds that will work for just about any mamma (or ‘it-ssue’!). Enjoy!

THINGS WE NEED TO THINK ABOUT:

Tummy control & coverage / boobie support / high-waisted options for C-section scars / easy-access for feeding / full cup sizes & underwire support / cellulite hiding options / wide hips disguisers / padding for leakage. If you don’t tick any of these boxes, good for you. Enjoy your bikini and stuff you #sorrynotsorry !!! Below are some styles I’ve sourced (all available to buy/ship) within Australia and are current season stock. For most of you lucky mammas, you still have a few months to prep. I on the other hand am praying for a miracle by the weekend!

LET’S GO SHOPPING:

Hi SISJ, great post! It’s not very clear where the black one piece (up at the very top of your post -with the ruffled halter) is from. Can you please let me know where it is from? I would love to be able to shop it!
    Thank you
