HELLO, I live here… No really, I do! From planning, to permits, to production, several arguments, our garage roof collapsing, flooding five times, maybe even a few tears, AND TWO YEARS later… our master bathroom became my very own Pinterest board! I AM IN LOVE! I had a very clear vision of what I wanted, so that made the decision making pretty easy – it was the logistics and project management side of the extension/build that was a bloody nightmare! I’ve put together an edit of all the finer details, some beauty cupboard close-ups (as requested!) and where we purchased everything from – including: tapware, hardware, accessories, bath, joinery, sinks, toilets and tiles. If you have any Qs, please let me know. SJ x
STYLE: French Provincial / Contemporary / Moroccan accents, JOINERY: Kitchens Victoria (using Farmers Doors product), BATH: Reece, TILES: Perini, MARBLE TRAYS: Marble Basics, TAPWARE/HARDWARE & ACCESSORIES: The English Tapware Company – Perrin & Rowe (including toilet) – all in nickel finish.
Bath from Reece / tapware & accessories from The English Tapware Company. ‘HER’ side – the pink side! The marble tray is from Marble Basics, tapware, accessories & hardware from The English Tapware Company. These tiles are from Perini – Richmond, Melbourne. They really have some of the most beautiful tiles I’ve ever seen, definitely head in there for so #inspo. This was the ONLY thing my husband went into battle on – so I just let him have it… for now! I suppose it does tie back with our Moroccan style tiles (and accent pieces around the rest of our home), but don’t tell him I said that! This chandelier is from Custom Lighting – Armadale, Melbourne.
All of our his & her joinery were custom made with Kitchens Victoria, using Farmers Doors. They specialise in French Provincial, Hamptons/coastal, contemporary/modern and traditional. Their showroom is located in Kilsyth, Melbourne.
You can order a kit of samples online – a MUST, so you can see it in the flesh before you order if you’re aren’t from Melbourne – although I am sure they have stockists nationwide. They are not cheap, but the quality and build are exceptional. Definitely allocate a large portion of your bathroom budget to joinery, if you want to custom build with a premium product.Accessories & toilet from The English Tapware Company. Check out the Frank Allart Vaucluse collection – ahhhmazing! Our toilet, and his & her sinks are all from Perrin & Rowe (available at The English Tapware Company). Perrin & Rowe are a world leader in premium quality brass tapware – all designed and crafted in England. There is often a long lead time on their products (we waited 13+ weeks for this toilet!), so keep that in mind. You know you’re getting old when beautiful tapware turns you on! All our tapware and hardware are from The English Tapware Company – Armadale, Melbourne.
