SISJ FASHION & LIFESTYLE – NO LUMPS WITH NANCY GANZ >
Today on the blog I am talking about a revolution in shapewear! Yes, you heard me. Gone are the days of the cliché ‘ugly’ shapewear, and hello to an empowering and sexy collection. Introducing, Nancy Ganz SLIMS.
I like to think of Nancy Ganz SLIMS as a lightweight, stylish and sexy option for shapewear. Recently launched, this innovative solution is taking shapewear to the next level for spring/summer14. The fabric used for SLIMS is 50% thinner than traditional bulky and uncomfortable shapewear. The SLIMS shapers range are made from a breathable sheer ultraknit, yet still provide firm and targeted control.
What I love most about the Nancy Ganz SLIMS range (besides keeping everything together!) is their beautiful and feminine designs. I love that they feel more like sexy intimates, rather than Bridget Jones nickers or that dreaded VPL! The sheer panelling, the flattering cuts will make you feel more like a Bond girl than anything else! All jokes aside, this shapewear really does work. Whether you have a bit of weight that you would like to disguise, or just some typical bloating (yay, not!), these designs will cater for you. It’s all about identifying your body shape and then dressing to enhance this shape.
“Shapewear has a perception that it is heavy and can be hot to wear so we used the latest innovations in fabric and bonding to dispel that myth once and for all” explained Janine Anggara, Nancy Ganz’s Designer. “The bonded ‘tiger’ stripes hold you firm in all the right places and the sheer ultraknit allows the skin to breathe- the result is light but effective shapewear that can be worn every day.”
ABOUT THE SLIMS RANGE:
There are 4 key essential items in the SLIMS range; an underbust bodysuit, underbust slip, half slip and shaping shorts. These designs are all available in black and nude and they range from sizes small – X-large (these are true to standard sizing). What you will also notice in my images above is, is that you can still wear your own sexy or cute underwear with these designs. This works well with sheer tops, where a slightly exposed lace bra can look uber chic. With the lightweight and sheer fabric, these are fantastic for summer and spring racing – with no trace visible through the dress.
