MIA GRACE TURNS THREE >
“The most precious jewels you’ll ever have around your neck are the arms of your children” – Cardinal Mermillod.
Well… I SURVIVED hosting MG’s third birthday party at home and no one filed for divorce – phew! Maaaaaate, it’s taken my body three days to recover! I’m too old for this. On the plus side, IT WAS BLOODY AMAZING! Seeing MG’s beautiful little face light-up with such amazement and joy, uhhh, nothing else matters. THAT’S WHAT IT’S ALL ABOUT – seeing your children happy and healthy. It’s never lost on me just how lucky we are.
As all our friends would know, my hubby NEVER misses an opportunity to give a speech (I’m rolling my eyes, but I secretly love it). My greatest fear in life is public speaking, so we compliment each other perfectly in this department. I prefer to just sit back and make things look pretty, while barking demands and giving him run-sheets! DUH. Oh, and then I blog about it later!
I will do another post about the styling in detail, including: where I bought everything, who we used for what and my tips for hosting a kid’s party at home. Just a quick, but HUGE thank you to Kate from Mary Mary Studio for the incredible flowers – you’re something else! Nicole from Nicole Pas Photography, for capturing these beautiful images of MG’s special day. Also to Zoe Karlis, for my fab hair and make-up – no one knew I was losing my SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA on the inside! SJ x
